After Care
Foot Care Tips
- Clean your feet every day with mild soap and always dry them well. Especially between the toes. (Note:Using a hair dyer on cool setting dries even the trickiest places.)
- Apply a cream made specially for the feet after washing and then again before bedtime. (Note: Deeper penetrating moisturizers are best because the skin on the feet is thicker than the rest of the body.)
- Exfoliate once a week. Use an appropriate foot file to gently smooth and reduce dry skin and calluses.
- Inspect your feet daily. Top, bottom and in between your toes. Look for any cuts, bruises, lesions, blood, changes is moles and calluses.
- Always wear fresh, clean socks.
- Wear different shoes each day. After each wear, sanitize your shoes with Shoe and Foot Deodorant and let them dry.
- Women should consider taking "nail polish holiday" occasionally.
- Follow home care routine recommended by your foot care professional.
- Book a pedicure every 4-6 weeks or as recommended by your foot care professional.
